A Legacy of Excellence in Diagnostics
Our investigation unit runs OCT, perimetry, gonioscopy, pachymetry, biometry and ocular ultrasound on site, so a diagnosis does not wait on a referral somewhere else. The same equipment supports our glaucoma, cataract and retina workups.

CARE BEYOND OUR WALLS
Community Outreach
Most avoidable blindness is found in rural communities where eye care simply does not reach. Our outreach takes screening, treatment and health education out to those communities across Imo State, and brings those who need surgery in to the hospital.
Eye Screening
Free screening in rural communities across Imo State, finding cataract, glaucoma and refractive error in people who would otherwise never be examined.
Health Education
Teaching communities how to protect their sight: the danger signs that need urgent attention, why glaucoma must be found early, and what to do when an eye is injured.
School Outreach
Vision screening in primary, secondary and tertiary institutions, so that children who cannot see the board are found and given the spectacles they need.

Eyeglasses are important personal use items. They require great care because the frame and the lenses are very fragile and can be damaged at the slightest impact. High quality frames and lenses are considerably expensive, which makes eyeglasses quite an investment. It also takes time and effort to find the perfect eyeglasses according to prescription and requirements.
