Welcome to St Joseph’s Eye Hospital Mgbirichi

Welcome to St Joseph’s eye hospital Mgbirichi, a mission eye care hospital based in the eastern part of Nigeria. In December 2009, started our operations in Imo state, and have now extended services to Abia state. The hospital is owned and managed by the Congregation of the Daughters of Mary, Mother of Mercy (DMMM) Nigeria.

With the support of our partners, Christian Blind Mission International (CBM), Vision for the Poor USA, Ezebilo Foundation and Divine Okwara Charity Foundation, we have been providing outstanding patient care services using the latest medical advancement and technology and following all the international standards of ophthalmology care within and around the states.
